Winding its way through Montrose County, Colorado and San Juan and Grand Counties, Utah, the Rimrocker Trail is meant for those who wish to explore a vast canyon and mesa country by OHV or high-clearance, four-wheel drive vehicle.
The Rimrocker Trail is a 160 mile designated route connecting Montrose, Colorado and Moab, Utah. A vast majority of the trail travels through remote and rugged public lands.
Located part way through the Rimrocker Trail at mile post 53 is the Town of Nucla, and 10 miles south on Highway 97 is the Town of Naturita. These two towns provide many of the services that trail users want.
